Founded in 1929, the Junior League of Troy is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Troy strengthens the lives of women and children at risk in our community by embracing diverse perspectives, building family and community partnerships, and inspiring shared solutions.  

The Junior League of Troy reaches out to women of all ages, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.

• Training for effective community leadership.

• Insights into community needs and opportunities to contribute to solutions.

• Interaction and partnerships with community leaders.

• Exposure to creative techniques in problem solving, communication, and the administration of non-profit agencies.

• New friends and opportunities for continued growth and fulfillment.

Any woman may join who meets these requirements:

• Have a strong interest in voluntarism.

• Have a proven commitment to community service.

• Desire to develop her potential for voluntary community participation.

• Be at least 18 years old.

The following membership dues are required at the end of every league year:

Active:	$75
Sustainer:	$60
Junior Active:	$45
Golden Sustainer:	$35
